Winchester Station

Located in the county of Hampshire, Winchester Station is operated by South Western Railways. The station is located on the South West Main Line and provides access for passengers to the rail network, traveling northward towards the terminal at Waterloo via Basingstoke, Woking, and Clapham Junction and southwards to Eastleigh, Southampton Central, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Portsmouth Harbour.

To improve station access, a new staircase has been installed off Stockbridge Road up to the station car park. Chromatica have manufactured and installed a LED lighting system mounted within the staircase handrails. In addition, selected luminaires utilise battery packs to provide emergency lighting for a period of upto 3 hours in the event of a mains failure.
